And a classic...
Banana Phone

It took me a while to realize what the hell that Carmina Burana one was, until I figured it was supposed to be synchronized with the music (but it very much wasn't for me...)

Was it out of sync for everyone else? ...I'd actually like to watch it when it's working properly, but I'm wondering if it's my machine or just the flash or whatever.

-edit-

weird... I opened it again and it's working great this time. :? very funny :)

The bananaphone one is awesome too :) I'd totally forgotten about it.

AT&T "You Will" ads from the early 90's predict the future...kinda. It did generate the rare fantastic YouTube comment (read after watching the video):

I borrowed a book from a phone booth, tucked a baby in without asking for directions and paid a toll in my bare feet. AT&T's got nu'thin on me!

A reply to orbit's youtube vid.

The world needs to have another plague. Not only is the girl a little bitch but the brother needs to be the first to go for being...well...a cock.

He prob uses wall h4x in CS. Just a couple of kids that are nothing more than panty pudding that made it to the egg...and survived.

One of my favorites is an urban legend that still makes the rounds today. I even heard some ass call into a radio program telling the DJ this same story. Amazingly, there are new news stories popping up every so often that tells the same exact tale!

Quote:
Unhappily Ever After

Date Added: Mar. 12, 2002
Last Updated: Mar. 12, 2002

This story about a jilted groom who exacts revenge on his cheating bride and best man is so good, we want it to be true. Unfortunately, in e-mail, the desire for it to be true is often all it takes for many to believe it so.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is a true story about a recent wedding that took place at Clemson University. It was in the local newspaper and even Jay Leno mentioned it. It was a huge wedding with about 300 guests. After the wedding, at the reception, the groom got up on stage with a microphone to talk to the crowd.

He said he wanted to thank everyone for coming, many from long distances, to support them at their wedding. He especially wanted to thank the bride's and his family and to thank his new father-in-law for providing such a lavish reception.

As a token of his deep appreciation he said he wanted to give everyone a special gift just from him. So taped to the bottom of everyone's chair, including the wedding party, was a manila envelope. He said this was his gift to everyone, and asked them to open their envelope.

Inside each manila envelope was an 8x10 glossy of his bride having sex with the best man. The groom had gotten suspicious of them weeks earlier and had hired a private detective to tail them.

After just standing there, just watching the guests' reactions for a couple of minutes, he turned to the best man and said, "F--- you!" then turned to his bride and said, "F--- you!" Then he turned to the dumbfounded crowd and said, "I'm outta here."

He had the marriage annulled first thing in the morning.

While most people would have canceled the wedding immediately after finding out about the affair, this guy goes through with the charade, as if nothing were wrong. His revenge... making the bride's parents pay over $32,000 for a 300 guest wedding and reception, and best of all, trashing the bride's and best man's reputations in front of 300 friends and family members.

This guy has balls the size of church bells.

Do you think we might get a MasterCard "priceless" commercial outta this?

Elegant wedding reception for 300 family members and friends.....$32,000

Wedding photographs commemorating the occasion......$3,000

Deluxe two week honeymoon accommodations in Maui.....$8,500

The look on everyone's face when they see the 8x10 glossy of the bride humping the best man... Priceless!

There are some things money can't buy.
For everything else there's MASTERCARD!!!
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Variations on this tale of sweet revenge have the bride exposing her groom, the father-in-law dropping the bomb (and a bill for the wedding) on the groom, and the best man revealing his indiscretion in a drunken stupor. This version, fictitiously set at Clemson University, is by far the most popular I've seen, but there's still no reason to believe it's true. There are no dates, no names and no other way to sufficiently validate it.

The story, it its many different versions, has been around for decades. In earlier e-mail versions, the story reportedly came from "a buddy who knows a guy that was at the wedding." The feeble attempts to attribute it to "the local newspaper" or Jay Leno try to make it sound valid, but these notes were added recently. While it's possible that some newspapers, as well as radio and television programs may have related this story, they were only passing on a legend.

It is possible, however, that the story did appear in some newspapers or has been mentioned on TV. Reporters have been known to fall for urban legends - especially when they're of the "we want this to be true" category. In the mid-90's several media outlets mistakenly reported this story as fact, but later retracted, citing a lack of evidence. Break this Chain.
